Australian Logistics Council joins MegaTrans as official Association Partner

MegaTrans is pleased to announce the Australian Logistics Council (ALC) as an official association partner for the 2026 event, further strengthening the exhibition and conference’s connection to Australia’s transport, freight and logistics sectors.

As the national peak body for Australia’s freight logistics industry, the ALC represents major companies and industry stakeholders across the supply chain. The organisation works closely with government and industry to improve freight efficiency, support national productivity and advocate for policies that strengthen Australia’s logistics capabilities.

The partnership reflects the growing importance of collaboration across the freight, warehousing and supply chain sectors as MegaTrans prepares to bring together industry leaders, technology providers and decision makers from across the country.

Prime Creative Media Head of Marketing – Events Molly Hancock said the partnership aligns strongly with MegaTrans’ focus on shaping the future of transport and logistics.

“The Australian Logistics Council plays an important role in driving conversations around the future of freight and supply chain operations in Australia,” Hancock said.

“MegaTrans is all about bringing the industry together to share ideas, explore innovation and tackle the challenges facing the sector. Having ALC involved as an association partner adds significant value to those conversations.”

Alongside the partnership, Dr Hermione Parsons, CEO and Managing Director of the Australian Logistics Council, will speak on the “Location, Location, Location: Establishing DCs for the Future” panel during the MegaTrans conference program.

The session will explore how transport and logistics companies can identify and develop the right operational bases to support long-term growth, efficiency and changing supply chain demands. From site selection through to fit-out considerations, the panel will examine the evolving role distribution centres play across the sector.
