Daniel is a consulting engineer with TUNRA Bulk Solids, Newcastle. Before joining TUNRA, Daniel completed his mechanical engineering degrees in Germany, and earned a PhD followed by a 2-year post-doc at the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM), Deakin University in Australia. His interests are solving problems associated with bulk material flow and resulting wear. His main expertise is the Discrete Element Method (DEM), modelling of wear and experimental wear testing.
