Shipsy named Conference Sponsor of MegaTrans 2026

AI-powered logistics technology company Shipsy has been named as the 2026 Conference Sponsor of MegaTrans , joining Australia’s leading transport and supply chain professionals at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 16–17 September.

Shipsy works with logistics operators globally to automate routine decisions across dispatch, customer service and finance, with its fine-tuned logistics model, Shipsy Brain, designed to work alongside human teams.

Through its involvement at MegaTrans 2026, Shipsy will connect with Australian fleet owners, freight operators and supply chain leaders navigating the challenges of long-distance freight, multimodal operations, rising delivery expectations and tight margins.

Shipsy said the value of its involvement goes beyond demonstrating another technology platform, with the company focused on showing operators the measurable impact AI can have on their day-to-day operations.

“For us the value isn’t showing another dashboard, it’s showing operators concretely how AI co-workers change a dispatcher’s shift, or how invoice reconciliation drops from days to hours,” a Shipsy representative said.

“We run this inside live logistics operations that move billions of shipments, including in this region. And we start with a diagnostic, not a commitment: we benchmark a real operation against best-in-class and put a costed number on what’s recoverable.

“MegaTrans is where those conversations start, with the people who actually run Australian networks.”

Prime Creative Media Head of Marketing – Events, Molly Hancock, said Shipsy’s focus on measurable outcomes made the company a strong addition to the MegaTrans conference program.

“The transport and logistics industry is under enormous pressure to improve productivity while continuing to meet customer expectations. Shipsy brings a practical perspective on how technology can help operators identify where those opportunities exist and turn them into measurable outcomes,” Hancock said.

“MegaTrans is about bringing the people shaping the future of transport and supply chains together with the technologies and solutions that can help them get there. We’re excited to have Shipsy joining and sharing its perspective with an audience that is actively looking at how AI can be applied in their own operations.”

For Shipsy, Australia presents a unique operating environment, with the country’s vast distances, multimodal freight networks and demanding delivery expectations creating significant opportunities for technology to improve efficiency.

“Australia runs a harder version of the problem than most markets: long distances, multimodal freight, thin margins, and delivery expectations that keep climbing regardless of geography,” the representative said.

“We already work with operators in the region, and MegaTrans brings the fleet owners, freight operators and supply chain leaders managing that complexity into one room. As we grow here, that’s a room we want to be in.”

The company will also highlight the operational challenges created by rising freight volumes and constrained resources, from dispatchers managing exceptions to teams dealing with repetitive customer enquiries and manual freight reconciliation.

“Operators are being asked to move more volume with the same headcount, while margins stay thin and delivery expectations keep rising. The strain shows up as noise: dispatchers firefighting exceptions, repeat “where is my order” calls, freight bills reconciled line by line,” Shipsy said.

“Most teams sense the cost of it but can’t size it. What’s changed is that it’s now measurable and addressable: the gaps can be quantified, and AI can act on the routine decisions rather than just flag them.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Shipsy’s approach to AI-powered logistics and how its technology is already being used within live logistics operations.

“Two things. First, that an AI workforce in logistics is already at work, not a someday idea: Shipsy Brain, our fine-tuned logistics model, runs alongside dispatchers, customer teams and finance today, handling routine decisions and escalating only what needs a human. Second, that they can find out what this is worth in their own operation without a big commitment, through a diagnostic that benchmarks them against best-in-class and puts a number on it.”

Shipsy’s involvement comes as MegaTrans 2026 brings together transport operators, freight and logistics providers, supply chain leaders, technology companies and industry experts to explore the future of Australia’s supply chain.

“The best logistics technology gets shaped in the room, not in isolation. The dispatcher who knows where a route really fails, the fleet manager who knows why a pickup slips, the supply chain lead carrying the SLA, those are the people who should shape what gets built,” the representative said.

“MegaTrans puts builders and operators face to face, which is the only way you build something an operator keeps using.”

MegaTrans 2026 takes place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 16–17 September 2026.
