Andrew Newman is Executive Director of Freight Victoria within the Department of Transport and Planning, bringing more than 20 years of experience across freight, ports, logistics, and transport policy. Having built his career across government and industry, including senior roles in freight strategy, transport planning, and policy development, he is recognised for his deep expertise and strong stakeholder engagement across Victoria's freight sector. Andrew is leading the implementation of the Victorian Freight Plan and Commercial Ports Strategy, helping shape a more efficient, connected, and sustainable freight network for Victoria.
