Andrew Newman is Director, Policy and Strategy at Freight Victoria within the Department of Transport and Planning. Andrew leads development of priority strategies including for commercial ports and the Victorian Freight Plan. Other roles include leading the Office of Suburban Development’s policy function and Policy Principal at Jacobs where he led urban and transportation planning functions. Andrew also held senior executive roles in transport network planning freight logistics across Victorian Government. Andrew holds a Master of Public Policy and Management from the University of Melbourne and degrees in arts and commerce.
