Louise Azzopardi is a former heavy vehicle mechanic, WorldSkills Australia representative and now a sought-after coach and speaker for tradeswomen and tradespeople. Beginning her apprenticeship at 15, Louise went on to represent Australia internationally in 2017, placing fourth in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance. After years in the trades and hearing that women simply needed “thick skin” to survive, Louise recognised that resilience alone wasn’t enough. She transitioned into training and assessment, and later into coaching, to create practical, lasting solutions for the challenges faced in blue-collar industries. Today, Louise delivers coaching, workshops and talks that equip people with the skills to navigate workplace challenges, build confidence, and create healthier, more inclusive environments. Her approach is honest, grounded and deeply practical, shaped by lived experience and a commitment to meaningful change.
