After more than a decade in the GPS Tracking Industry, Matt Cooper was asked to solve a specific problem for a large multinational haulage business, that of remote tyre monitoring and management for Quad Road Trains in the North West of WA. After an exhaustive, worldwide search for answers and off the shelf products Matt decided the only way to meet his customers needs was to create a new solution & business, which he did, launching in 2021, Tyre Hero. Its aim; to revolutionise tyre management in the heavy commercial vehicle sector and reduce dangerous breakdowns and losses from tyre fires. Tyre Hero takes live data from TPMS, temperature and wheel‑loss sensors to spot issues early – from low pressure to overheating hubs – and offers both real-time in-cab alerts as well as cloud-based notifications. It uses AI‑powered software to display assets in one simple, scalable, software platform, ideal for operators of large fleets. Tyre Hero successfully completed an oversubscribed capital raise in 2025 and is now expanding into overseas and domestic markets.
