Matt Eryurek, General Manager Ports Development – SCT Logistics

Matt joined the SCT Group in May 2016 in the role as Ports Development Manager and brought with him a wealth of knowledge from the transport and logistics business sector.  Matt was recruited to implement and lead the national ports development strategy for SCT.  Shortly afterwards, Matt’s talents were recognised, and he was promoted to the position of General Manager Ports Development.

Prior to SCT, Matt has worked with some of the top shelf companies in Australia, including Container Swing Lift, Patricks, and Australian Air Express.

Matt’s reputation in the freight and logistics area has been achieved through winning major contracts and tenders, and has a demonstrated work history and has gained skills in negotiation, business planning, operations management, import, and freight and is a strong human resources professional with a Bachelor of Economics, focused in Marketing from University high school Parkville and Latrobe University Melbourne.

Matt was invited to attend the Asciano Management training course, one of only 20 to be selected. Skilled in Negotiation, Business Planning, Operations Management, Import, and Freight. Strong human resources professional with a Bachelor of Economics focused in Marketing. He has negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts and designed and implemented successful CRM programs for several previous companies.

Matt Eryurek is a 6th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and he’s represented both his State and Australia in local and international tournaments.  In Matt’s spare time, he manages Team Taekwondo Club and trains young minds to achieve life success.
